Identified by being large, mean, and warlike. their dominant arm is cover in the mark of marjak which comes from being touch by their god only their shamans may see these marks thereforewhen they go to battle they cover their weapon arm. '''''bugbear lore''''' From ages beyond count, Bugbears have strode the face of this world, bringing war to the pointed hearts of elves, and the fallow hearts of Man. How can other races feel that world belong to other race?? Only Bugbears have the passion in heart, the might in arm, and the wisdom in mind to hold this world, greatest of Marjack's creations and Marjacks gift to Bugbears! From the Lands Humankind calls Turkey do Bugbears sweep, driving fear and suffering to the weak lands of other races. Tis the right Marjack bestowed upon Bugbears, that Bugbears will straddle this world, standing as Collossus, with one foot on world, and other foot in the realms of spirit, for truly only Bugbears may see what lies beyond Marjack's veil. Hearken, and be told of the Tribes, and the structure that has endured many HUMAN inventions, and broken the might of ELVEN armies as dry kindling.

One Bugbear stands at the head of tribe, one Bugbear leads, blessed in Marjacks might and main, and this bugbear is named Atan-Ashi which mean in coarse human tongue, ' Highest Warrior.' Atan Ashi control all life of tribe, commanding respect as chosen of Marjack and from the power Marjack bestow upon Atan Ashi's arm. All listen to Atan Ashi, and all bow to no other creature, for only Bugbear is fit to rule Bugbear.

Beneath Atan Ashi, stand the Ashi, or warriors. Ashi make up all of tribe, from youngest Bugbear to eldest. All Bugbears that may lift weapon are warriors of Marjack, and all Bugbears are granted Marjacks strength in arm. Ashi, though, have more important matters. Ashi as well are the farmers, the crafters... Ashi provide for the tribe, and as such, Ashi price is raised beyond all the coffer holdings of Human and Elven nations. Without Ashi, the tribe would die, like cancerous tree, or be without art, as the Human tribes.

Beneath Ashi, fall the women and children. Even these are Ashi, forged in the grip of Marjack, but Su-Ashi. Su Ashi mean, again in the coarse tongue of Humankind.. " Tamed Warriors ". Su Ashi have not gained the fire of Marjack, and have not proven Bugbears of true might and main, yet.

Finally, come the least of the Tribes. Gojun-Ashi. Gojun Ashi mean " Lowest Warrior " and Gojun Ashi are nothing. Orphans, Gojun Ashi have no teacher in the ways of craft, so the Tribe must care for Gojun Ashi, for Marjack has commanded that no Bugbear child die when another may prevent it. Gojun Ashi, though, have no value, for Gojun Ashi know no trade, no nothing to be taught from father ( or mother ) to son ( or daughter ). The Tribe cares for Gojun Ashi and in return, Gojun Ashi learn two things. Gojun Ashi learn to fight, and the True path of Marjack. Gojun Ashi are traded often, to other tribes, for Gojun Ashi value is nothing compared to value of Ashi. Gojun Ashi have no say, only can Gojun Ashi follow commands of Atan Ashi, even to the death. In the Dance of Marjack, or battle, Gojun Ashi are the first to bring war down, and the first to drive Human and Elves to ground. Gojun Ashi boots are the first to crush the fragile bones beneath hard heel, and Gojun Ashi hands wield the weapon that draw first blood. Gojun Ashi are also first to die, souls screaming to Marjacks torturing grasp if Gojun Ashi has failed.

Should Bugbear die in battle, Bugbear rises to feet of Marjack, and become soldier in Marjacks Army. Should Bugbear kill slayer, then Bugbear rises to mingle with Marjack.. be coming general in Marjacks army, for greater glory.

One thing more, The reason for the covering of Bugbear arm. When a Bugbear is born, Marjack attends to the child. Marjack touches lightly the arm the child will use forever, and in that istant, Marjack gives child strength and might. Because arm is holy, it belong not to bugbear that carry it, but to Marjack only. As such, no one save other Bugbear, and then ONLY Hidewalker, may see holy flesh of Marjack

"a bugbear may procreate with anything, they are highly xenophobic, however. although when the mating drive comes over them they may procreate with other bugbears,goblins,elvish women(although the amount of riverwater that one takes is amazing) farm implements such as scythes, tractors,or hammers, fauna, preferable trees, croplands, volcanos,the air, etc.etc. The power of the bugbear seed is such that although there is no genetic connection between these things and the bugbear the sperm will force the object, plant, and/or sentient being to reproduce. The emtional/mental state of the bugbear and the bugbear's partner upon conception also affects the mental state of the bugbear upon birth and it will maintain that mental or emotional state once fully grown to adulthood as well. there are no known records of any bugbear other than purebreeds (those born a a coupling between a two bugbears) being born from anything other than anger and violence.

unlike other races, however, that produce halfbreeds the genetic materials of the bugbear are SO superior that it will always produce a bugbear. a few examples of this are as follows:

Vo'kor, father by the coupling of a bugbear male and a dwarven steam powered locomotion machine. for the pinkies it's dwarven name is a train.

Graavish Doomshield, birthed by the coupling of a bugbear female and a mountain.

Drago, fathered by a bugbear male and and ironwood tree that was on fire.

Gnoll

Identified by horrid posture,feral as growling alot, and a large collar around their necks. Gnolls are little more than hyenas that stood up grabbed weapons and went after it when ever two or more gnolls get together their is bound to be a fight for dominance.Gods: none known

Goblins

Identified by being small, green, incredibly cruel and their erogenous zones are on their knees and elbows. They cover them to avoid insulting other goblins, but care less if humans see. gods: (INSERT HEAD GOBLIN GOD HERE), Scribbit (God of Rage), Pissran (Malevolent Creator), Bluughh (Eater of Goblyn souls), Osch Kruleon (Dragonlike God of Murder), Sifu (Six armed guardian (Goblin Queen) of frozen underworld)

Goblins tend to gather in tribes, but often strike out in groups comprized of representatives of many tribes called Skrylls. Night Goblyns

Night goblyns are a tribe of goblyns that millenia ago where sealed in a cave and thought dead only to immerged changed a night goblyns is brought up on a steady diet of other night goblyns and the poisonious and hallucingence fungi that live in their caves. this make them some what smaller than your usual goblyn and waaaaay more insane their gods are the gos mork and gork and they have a strange affinity with the moon you may identify them by the night black robes with a checkered pattern of white and black on the edges

Hobgoblynz

History

Hobgoblynz are created from the spirits of fallen heroes. Typically they are spirits of the strongest of monsters who have earned the favor and respect of the Gods in their lifetime; but in the end died valiantly in battle and failed in a solemn oath. Because of this they are not able to join their fallen brothers in the afterlife but are given a second chance through powerful majikz.

These spirits are reborn from one of the most sacred and powerful of all Goblyn rituals. The Goblyn High Priestess combines her mystical energy with that of the land's dominant Shaman (usually an Ogre Shaman) to call the heroes' fallen spirits to her womb where they combine and are reborn into the world as a much more powerful creature, having the best traits of the spirits' original forms.

Because of this Hobgoblyns come in all shapes and sizes. A Hobgoblyn can be born of any combination of the monster races: Bugbear, Lizardman, Kobold, Goblyn, Skaven, Trollz, Gnolls, Orcs, etc. Because they cannot know for sure who they were in their past lives, they grow up with respect for all of the monster races and educate themselves on the histories, cultures, and Gods of them all.

When a Hobgoblyn is born, the first couple years of their life they are raised by the Priestess and/or the Shaman. Growing up around the wielders of majik makes them more likely to recognize other majik users and they become much more resistant to the their effects. It is said that no Hobgoblyn has ever fallen to the effects of majik in battle. This is a short stage in their life, aside from learning about majik and culture from their guardians they also learn how to read, write, track, navigate, gather, and hunt. When they are able kill their first game, they are able to start their next phase of life as children of war.

The Hobgoblyn is then raised by the army of the land. They often become adept at many weapons, reflecting their past lives abilities. It is not uncommon for a Hobgoblyn to suffer from nightmares, flashes of images from lives past.

Goals

The versatility of Hobgoblynz makes them an invaluable asset to the Horde Armies. They can be deployed as shock troops, skirmishers, as part of a shield wall, as archers, etc. Their goals are the army's goals. As grunts, they fight with fierce dedication to their leaders. As leaders, they command with undying loyalty to their men.


Reproduction

Hobgoblyns do not cover their knees or elbows like Goblynz do unless they have a strong compulsion to do so. They can have children with other races, the child is born as the race of the Hobgoblynz mate. A Hobgoblyn is incapable of having a child with another Hobgoblyn, It is not unheard of to have a Hobgoblyn couple raise another child as their own.

Skaven

The Skaven are an evil, sentient race of rat-like creatures bent on taking over the world. They live in a series of tunnels beneath the rest of the world, plotting for the day when they will rise up and take over the rest of the world that dwells on the surface. Humans remain mostly ignorant of the Skaven, which the ratmen take great effort to ensure continues. Those who do know of their existence tend to classify them as merely a sub-breed of Beastman rather than as a unique race. The humans most knowledgeable about the Skaven are the "Sewerjacks", city watchmen whose job it is to patrol the sewers of large cities to fight criminals. As a result, they encounter Skaven often.

Trolls

there are two sub groups of trolls there's the hat troll and the mountain troll

Hat Trolls

The hat troll is tall lanky fast and cunning they measure everything by height where a bugbear might say im a better warrior than you or a goblyn might say im more cunning the hat troll say "ha im the tallest" in fights for dominance the tallest roll wins the hat troll may always be identified by the hat they wear to protect theior heart which is in their head from the sun Gods: the hat trolls are bastard children of marjak the illegitimate cousins of the bugbears

Mountain trolls

The Mountain troll is easily identified from hat trolls by two things one the size whereas hat troll are lanky and tall the mountain troll is massive almost to the size of bugbears and are in fact stronger than bugbears though not as good at the arts of war the easiest way to identifiy mountain trolls is they always bear their upper arms as a sign of strength as proclaimed by Koom's God Banzor. He stated that all mountain Trolls should bear their arms for 7 years as a sign of strength against the Sun. The 7 years is more than likely up, but trolls are not too good with numbers and Koom has already forgotten.

Mountain Troll Lore

Mountain Trolls have a sour distaste to Goblins and Will normally not fight to close to them. Long ago Mountain Trolls were slaves to the Goblin tribes and used as War Slaves. During one of the Goblin Tribe meeting, there was an argument. It soon broke out to a fight (*1). A goblin from each Tribe decided to use their Trolls to fight(*2). Well when the Trolls were unleashed, all they saw were goblins. So After all the Goblins were Dead the two trolls looked at each other and said "That was fun…lets find some more." One Troll went to the Mountains, The other it is rumored went to the north. This is the birth of the Mountain Trolls and Hat Trolls.
