This is no ordinary fairy tale where the handsome prince rescues the beautiful princess from the terrible fire breathing dragon. This is a tale of a purple dragon who became a ninja. It took this purple dragon a long way to become a true ninja in Belegarth. He had a very hard task to do after Battle for the Ring XIV, but after that particular event, this purple dragon decided to continue learning about the way of the Belegarth Ninja. His name is Shiryu.
Shiryu was given a task by Lunae the Vapor Witch to win the assassin’s tournament in Battle for the Ring XVI by any means necessary. First and foremost, the purple dragon ninja needed to assassinate two targets to proceed on to the hardest tasks there were. He successfully executed them, then was approached by a messenger of the Dark Emperor of Belegarth. The messenger offered Shiryu a very hard task in order to guarantee a win in the assassin’s tournaments. First and foremost, Shiryu had to find a ranger’s wife by the name of Matron. Shiryu created a consumable poison for his target, Matron. He searched in a ranger camp, finding out that she worked for the rangers of Belegarth. He disguised himself as her husband giving her a “gift”. She took a drink from Shiryu’s poison. Instantly, the purple dragon ninja got away.
Shiryu returned to the Dark Emperor’s messenger. The messenger had another task for Shiryu: he ordered the purple dragon ninja to kill a knight known to be Sir Karps the Capable. Sir Karps was known to be a knight of the Wardens sworn to protect an empress who opposed the Dark Emperor and his plans. Shiryu accepted the task. As the purple dragon ninja went on to the next target, he disguised himself as a member of the Wardens. Sir Karps was hosting a tournament for knights only. After the tournament was over, Shiryu came behind Sir Karps and stabbed the capable knight with his greatsword, and got away without a trace.
As the purple dragon ninja returned to the Dark Emperor’s messenger, Shiryu was given another task to kill a well-known apprentice known as Naga the Sneaky Snake. Without hesitation, Shiryu went on to find the sneaky snake. No matter how hard it was to find Apprentice Naga, the purple dragon ninja did not give up. As soon as she was spotted without anyone by her side, Shiryu took his greatsword and cut the head of Apprentice Naga. The purple dragon ninja returned to the messenger with the sneaky snake’s head.
The messenger, impressed with Shiryu’s dedication to win the assassin’s tournament, gave him another task to kill someone known as Apprentice Garfielious. Shiryu has gone on to the next target to eliminate him. The purple dragon ninja has walked back and forth knowing where the apprentice was. As he walked out of the arts and crafts tent, Shiryu did not hesitate one bit to execute him with his greatsword. After Garfielious’ death, Shiryu brought Garfielious’ tail to prove to the messenger that he did take out the apprentice. As the messenger became more impressed, the Dark Emperor appeared and ordered Shiryu to kill the Empress who opposed his plan. The purple dragon ninja accepted the Dark Emperor’s task. Her name was Dark Empress Ana.
The Dark Empress heard about the death of Sir Karps the Capable, so she sent her fellow knights to protect the people of Belegarth as they were threatened by the purple dragon ninja. Unfortunately for Dark Empress Ana, Shiryu found a way around her guards. As she saw the guards on the ground, Shiryu slit the throat of Dark Empress Ana. The purple dragon ninja took a portion of her blood to prove to the Dark Emperor that it had been done. As Shiryu returned to the Dark Emperor, Lunae the Vapor Witch and the Dark Emperor were talking about granting him special abilities. As Shiryu showed proof to the Dark Emperor, Lunae the Vapor Witch took the blood sample of the Dark Empress and gave the purple dragon ninja unlikely abilities. Shiryu has the abilities of a ninja like no other. He can create magical illusions to trick his enemies.
A day later, a ranger by the name of Renegade decided to hunt down the purple dragon ninja for the assassination of his wife, Matron. This ranger was the leader of his camp. Enraged, Renegade found and confronted Shiryu and challenged him to a duel. Willingly to accept the duel, the purple dragon ninja created duplicates of himself to trick Renegade. No matter how much the ranger tried to kill the purple dragon ninja, Shiryu ended up taking Renegade’s life. As Renegade took his last breath, the assassin’s tournament was over. Everyone to this day has felt fear, and paranoia to the fact that Shiryu has done the impossible. As Lunae the Vapor Witch and the Dark Emperor congratulate the purple dragon ninja, a bigger threat has occurred to Belegarth.
