About:

Nyrathis has been fighting on and off since 2012. She originally fought with a LARP club in Minnesota that had no rules. You literally just brought a weapon made of foam and fought. Practices were generally pretty chaotic but with so many people on the field it was a lot of fun. After moving to Iowa she became involved in Dagorhir and joined a realm. She fought with them almost a year. During a tournament she got second place, bested only by someone from a neighboring realm. Because of this she was declared the realm's champion. Due to a hectic schedule she was forced to put down her sword for the rest of her high school career. After beginning college at UNI she found the fighters of Nan Belegorn. She quickly picked up fighting again and started practicing with them regularly. Now you can find her most commonly at events with Tir Asleen, Oktoberfest, and Melcaorme.

Lore:

Born many years ago, in lands beyond the Frozen North, there was a creature of unknown race and name. Growing up she knew not what she was, only that she had a desire to fight. She was taller than the other younglings around her and looked very different. They were soft and her skin was like leather. As years passed the differences only increased. Eventually the creature decided to leave and try to discover her place. She wandered without name for many years, occasionally finding groups of humans willing to take her in, and slowly developed her strength as a warrior. She joined a ragtag army for a time and found an outlet for her rage. There were no rules, if you had a stick you could fight. After forging her own crudely made sword she slowly built herself a reputation of violence. Pinkies ran at the sound of her snarl on the field and hounds were at her side. She did find a few allies to fight with but still there were none like her. Eventually she grew dissatisfied. Again she felt the need to move on and made her way south. Here she was adopted into a realm of pinkie fighters. The creature quickly proved herself a worthy adversary and after slaying all those against her in a tournament she was named their champion. She was known for her affinity with hounds and bore a paw as her symbol. For a while this satisfied her, however, she still longed to find her own kind. She grew increasingly restless and moved on to greater things. Drawn to the lands of Eriador she found Nan Belegorn, a realm of monsters. Immediately after finding them she swore her allegiance, falling to her knees and declaring she had "found her people". It was here that an ork, Ghyll, revealed to her what she was. Finding her licking her wounds on the side of the battlefield he looked down and told her she acted like an ogre. Shortly after discovering her place she named herself Nyrathis, a way of saying 'my wrath is'. Nyrathis fought for several years with Nan Belegorn battling against their neighboring realm Tir Asleen and attending several events. During this time she silently observed other ogres wishing to join them. At Melcaorme 2016 she was welcomed into the Karaduawn tribe and Sigurd performed the ceremony to discover her totem spirits. She was there for the ceremony declaring Gorlock chief and was one of the first to pick up his flag. She was also invited into House Raider's Den after defeating their leader in several scrimmages.
