A failed weapon is a weapon that received an unsafe status during weapons check due to it not following the rules completely. The most common reasons why weapons fail is for hitting too hard, flex, or simple things like the pommel or tip being too small around. These weapons will likely be marked with some sort of sticker or tape, indicating their failed status and occasionally the reason why. The owner may always return the weapon to the Herald who checked it and ask for further explanation if need be.
