To understand the warrior Follar the White, you must know the legend of Tandrod the Axe Lord. Tandrod is one of those names that when spoken among men in taverns evokes images of epic heroism, righteous conquest, and unparalleled might. Entering the Armies of Clanmaster Aghnar O’Reilly at a very young age, Tandrod rose through the ranks so quickly that he found himself a Ganackd Disciple before reaching the age of 18. The young warrior began fielding one of the most fearsome armies ever to have existed before he even grew a beard. As he aged and his skills in the Ginnerald developed, he mastered the art of axe wielding. He was the epitome of the perfect Ginnic Warrior. An enormously strong, devout, and fearless man, capable of double wielding twenty pound axes. The man gained his notoriety through the complete destruction of the armies of Dunemor. Dunemor of course being the fallen son of William the Wise, who bid his soul to the Dark Betrayor after forfeiting his oath to Ginneigh. In one battle Tandrod had destroyed every last pagan amongst Dunemor’s armies, and as the great Heathen General stood against the destroyer of his armies, it was Dunemor who slew Tandrod. The legacy of Tandrod the Axe Lord was left to his only son, young Follar. Follar was but a young lad at the time, but was happily in the service of the up and coming O’Reilly king, Mordgar O’Reilly, whom he squired for. When Aghnar passed, and Mordgar took the throne, it was only necessary, as according to Ginnic custom that the loyal service of Tandrod be honored by giving noble rank to his son Follar. And so Mordgar granted Follar the great honor of riding a Chevroth into battle, the great O’Reilly steed, and serving directly under Mordgar himself in war. When Morgar’s son Argyle came of age, Follar was placed under him as a member of Argyle’s Riders, and rode with him in the Dark Crusades, and fought along side him in the battle for Reilltoch. Now the chevroth’s have all withered away, and there is nothing but the thick mud for which the Lost Children must tread upon with their own feet, but Follar still serves his master. Follar is the most trusted of all of Argyle’s company and always fights beside Argyle in war.
