Hakan was born of the lands of Numenor, first beginning his war making in the ranks of the mercenary unit Valdemar. Headed by a disgraced Knight of old, Sir Alberich, this motley crew of fighters began as something laughable; Constantly tormented by the Uruk-Hai and the Dark Guard of Mordor they slowly trained their skill and mettle, becoming a force to be reckoned with. As new blood joined the unit Hakan felt the winds of change stir about him, the wanderlust burning in his veins.
The ogre wandered west, now confident in his own skill and perhaps still too brash, in search of new land and armies to crush. He stopped, for a time, in the lands known as The Dominion of the Unconquered Sun and reveled in the massacre that occurred regularly between the un-dead armies of the Dark Armor against the forces of the Night's Watch who ever watched the great wall, the barbarian hordes of the Wolf-Callers, and the lords of the lands known as the Myrkridians. Here, too, he met a man of the Militia and a few sparing members of the Army of Mordor but alas..his time in those lands was not long to be spent. He had little care for their political games and the daggers in the eyes of men...so West he wandered again.
Hakan now found himself stuck in horrid desert, left with nothing to fight but men of Amtguard and pure boredom..and so for a time he rested. He focused on the training of his mind and body, seeking new depths of power..and so He-Who-Watches called to him. "East," He-Who-Watches said, "Back to the East you will find what you desire."
East and North again the Ogre wandered, up into the mountains, taunted by the whispering voice of a god he'd never believed in. There was something in these lands, he could feel it calling out to his blood. Stygia, this land was called, formerly known Gorrothanon to the humans that watched the Dread Gate. Here bloodshed thrived, and so too did the warrior Ogre as he found a home amongst the tribes of the Western Uruk-Hai with whom he still fights to this day.
Only recently has Hakan received the great honor of an apprenticeship under Warmaster Soo Ma Tai, the first of his name, along with a fearsome brother in arms Zeldrine Cold. Hakan strives to ever improve his own fighting, and that of those around him he deems somewhat worthy of living. He has even taken to training the pink ones as of late, if only to give his green brethren more of a challenge. Still at the forefront of his mind, however, is pleasing his new "Master" and honoring his legacy.
