Wolfpack is hosting their killer practice gone completely wrong. That's right, everyone's favorite boxing match in a closet, The Wolfpack Opener!! This will also be one of the first events of 2026, Belegarth's 25th Anniversary!
Date: Saturday, February 21st, 2026
Schedule:
- Doors open at 9:30am *Volunteers and vendors came come as early as 9am*
- Fighting start at 11:00am
- Event is done at 3:00pm
- Everyone out by 4:00pm
Place: Illinois State University's Horton Field House; 180 N Adelaide St, Normal, IL 61761
Admission: $10 for Fighters, $5 for non-fighters/spectators, kids under the age of 15 are free
Belegarth 2026 Silver Jubilee Passport: All Belegrim are encouraged to make their own belt flag to serve as a “passport”. Belegrim will use this passport to collect various “stamps” from participating events across the nation during 2026 to join the fun!
Pre-Registration Goal Prizes: Pre-registration for the event ends one week prior, February 14th, 2025. Based on the number of pre-registrations when it closes, the event coordinators will arrange for these prizes:
- 100 People: A cut throat match with a free weapon given to the winner
- 200 People: Event Tokens
- 400 People: 1 extra hour of fighting time!!
- 800 People: $5 off the price of registration for Wolfpack Opener next year in 2027
Parking: After 7:00 p.m. Friday to 4:00 a.m. on Monday, open parking is available in the RED faculty/staff surface lots and the GREEN commuter surface lots.
Open parking does not include meters, pay lots, reserved spaces, reserved zones, business spaces, service spaces or blue residence hall student storage lots.
