Tome of Numenor

The Tome of Numenor is the internal history of the Unit, The Knights of Numenor. They are a fighting Unit out of Numenor with origins far back in 1986, in the earliest days of American foam fighting. This document traces their history and their peerage.

The Tome of Numenor was written and first published by Sir Cyric of Numenor in 2007. It is based on the Knights of Numenor website by Sir Artemis (1997-2006), the Numenor rulebooks (1996-2007), and a series of interviews with prominent Knights to fill in missing bits of the history.

The Knights of Numenor are the oldest order of Knights in Belegarth, and theirs is the first peerage line created in the game. The information in the Tome of Numenor has been consistently updated since the early days of the Knights of Numenor website in 1997.

In 2026, Sir Cyric retired from his duties maintaining the Tome after nearly 20 years. He handed off the duties to Sir Artemis, who will actively maintain it and train a successor.

The Tome is not widely available, and generally does not get released outside of the Knights and Squires of Numenor. The basic biographical information about the Knights of Numenor and their line is reproduced here on the wiki.
