God of Undeath

The Void

Hod is who found, claimed and mastered the powers within the Negative Energy Plane. Also known as the Plane of Death or The Void.

Hod Stirs

The Dthoum'uun (undead) have been unseen in recent history and for the most part lost to time.

Barring the ignominious events surrounding the Mourrah'Crowl resurrections and then the subsequent hunt and cull of the beings known as "Crowler Wights", there has been very little believed Necromyn activity reported for an entire ocean of time.

The slowest slithering glaciers have since picked up great boulders from and across the mantles face and have ground them down to dust. Hundreds of cultures of living beings have been birthed, swelled and have long since gone extinct. Islands have risen, and babbling streams have cut entire valleys as furrows that now lie lower than the level of the great seas.

But these happenings in that ocean of time has been but a single drop that hangs from the end of a nauseous gargoyle's tongue. We here are in that instant before the great retching. Readying ourselves as the leaning gargoyle is poised to purge.

I am sure that you see the limited number of Dthoum'uun that are still aware and among us on the mantle's crust.

This fact is undoubtedly related to the loss of the undead army and the subsequent razing of the Crypts of Chuul and the deep exhumations and banishments of many Bonded Followers of Hod. It is even rumored that three Undead Lords were found during the crusaders campaigns and that their whispers have not been heard since.

Hod has not shown interest here and has allowed those that remain to hide, or slowly roam the dark, or to simply lie down and accept a long and rending rot.

But....epochs are where truths are slowly turned into the loam of the earth. And to within the earth be either forgotten or transformed. Such lengths of time can compel the weak to be restored and inviting the darkest secrets themselves to walk confidently among us without our knowing.

The very gait of our own shambling feet and the squeaking grate of our graveyard's gate are themselves the sounds of an epochs end. And another dark secrets beginning. Along with those few others who have become recently ambulant. These are the third and last recognised sign that an elder's age might be resurfacing from its blighted hollowed place.

Long crepuscular fingers are reaching out as the signs themselves. Signs that Hod stirs. And portents such as these are Hods own uncurling dark and raking immortal claws.

But the portents are there for those who would see them.

The first portent is above us even now although few would ever know it exists. It is a pulse of unseen light. Pfecdema-Prime was observed as being peculiarly placed during the vernal equinox. At the apex of its stellar arch there is proof of a hidden body's ecliptic ascension.

The excandescent star has again risen!.

The second portent is below us even now. Through the tumults being reported among the major centers of many living populations. But it is not the shaking earth itself that is the sign but the deep cracks they have caused. Something very old is seeping up and creeps along the low and shadowed spaces under us. These are the most semblant and noticeable symptom. the earths deepest darkened bones have been broken. Their misty murk and wormy marrow rising finally up. A languid sloughed rotting pulp. A heavy spreading and sordid energy from the It of most unknowns. I have seen these things as the second sign of changing times.

And the third portent ..........is you.

And those recently risen like you.

The few that have been risen up against the permanence of death and away from moribundity and limiting mundane existences. Pulled up by the chains of shadow either willing or not.

Seek the void............. and be pulled out by those chains.

• The 9 thousand levels of Hexya - Commonly referred to as Hell. This plane of punishment is the home to many known demons and devils thought the many pantheons of the Material Plane and beyond. Abyssal field of study within this realm birthed the Ba'al 'Krynn strain of undeath. No further studies have been found since the passing of Dakar'keth'ull'kymn'hep'dthom'nyn'keth'kor near the end of the Undead War.

• Tenetour-ulomn -although it's name is present through out the deathrisen's history. no information is known about this place in the current era. Archeological studies are still being made to discover which strain of undeath was birthed from this place and which Necromyc Direction is most powerful within it's grounds. • Te'Bhogg'O'Dthoum - Commonly referred to as the Sea of the Damned. This place is believed to be a sort of purgatory-like realm where time seems to have no actual meaning. Ghostly ships are believed to roam these waters but wether or not they're actual ghost or mere lingering shadows of other travelers passing throughout the centuries is uncertain. The necromyc direction of Bhogg'Murr spawned from here, and any sailor said to shed blood within it's waters and be given burial at sea will be risen as one of the many Draugr that now roam the seas of the Material Plane.

• Dakar'Domyyn - commonly referred to as the Dark Dominion very little us known about this place in the current era. Archeological studies are still being made to discover which strain of undeath was birthed from this place and which Necromyc Direction is most powerful within it's shadowy grounds. • Csephalanx-neyth - although it's name is present through out the deathrisen's history. no information is known about this place in the current era. Archeological studies are still being made to discover which strain of undeath was birthed from this place and which Necromyc Direction is most powerful within it's grounds. • Khal'Thuul -although it's name is present through out the deathrisen's history. no information is known about this place in the current era. The Nine Necromyk Directions

• The Excandescent Star- Commonly referred to as the study if The Astral Plane. much of the study of this Necromyc Direction has been lost to time and many studies are being done by scholar and archeologist alike to bring it back to the current age

• Huum'ann-Commonly referred to as the study if monsterdom. much of the study of this Necromyc Direction has been lost to time and many studies are being done by scholar and archeologist alike to bring it back to the current age

• Koremantle- Commonly referred to as the study of the Underdark. Not much is known about this necromyc direction other than that it's where the remaining Wights fled during the final days of the Undead War. Much of the study of this Necromyc Direction has been lost to time and many studies are being done by scholar and archeologist alike to bring it back to the current age

• Anomyyl - Commonly referred to as the study of Abysm. This necromyc direction was historically documented as being synonymous with the 9000 Layers of Hexya themselves spawning the Ba'al 'Krynn strain of undeath and inevitably bringing about the Undead War. Although Abyssal magic was used to preserve the few remaining documents from these eras, the eradication of its strain caused much of it's knowledge to be lost to time. Studies are however being done by scholar and archeologist alike to bring it back to the current age

• Mnarr - Commonly referred to as the study if monsterdom. much of the study of this Necromyc Direction has been lost to time and many studies are being done by scholar and archeologist alike to bring it back to the current age

• Bhogg - Commonly referred to as the study of seas and swamps, this strain is one of the few fully rediscovered directions of Necromyc study. While much of the origins surrounding it's birth remains a mystery even to it's most notable practicioners, the history of it's rediscovery and reinvention during The Age of Plagues is highly documented, and widely considered the start of the first major resurgence of undead in the current age

• Dakar'Dthamar - commonly referred to in history as the study of the "Dark Tower". much of the study of this Necromyc Direction has been lost to time and many studies are being done by scholar and archeologist alike to bring it back to the current age.

• Nyth'dranor- commonly referred to in history as the study of Daemons. much of the study of this Necromyc Direction has been lost to time and many studies are being done by scholar and archeologist alike to bring it back to the current age.

• Illith (Ethereal Plane) - Also known as the study of "The Veil" or "The Unknown" much of the study of this Necromyc Direction has been lost to time and many studies are being done by scholar and archeologist alike to bring it back to the current age

• Lore: She moves among legend upon layers of writhing pupae. She counts and accounts for every Hobben Kusst. Known as the Thresh of Lepers, Her lessons lie within; "Dark Parable of the Acolytes Hook- The Fallacy of the Absolute"

Excerpt- "Phobettus made worthy strides inside the realm between sleeping and wakeful states. And he sought the sacred ochre in that realm. Each seeking stride was to him a mortal lesson. And the mortal lessons were each as coils, refractory and permanent.

And Phobettus found - the sacred ochre. And it was the weight of knowing. And he used it to write the lessons of those worthy strides upon his skin. And this caused his skin to scab. And he cast the scabs off of him and along the lengths of the land. And they were lost for several epochs. Until the coils could be manifest inside mortal minds. And it was then that the coils were breached out of the land and reached out to the minds of mortals." Phobettyyn Sakarren 14.3-14.5''

The Hobs who sought and through their own trials found the prime coils were known as the Acolytes of Bremmen. They each drew to the whisper and the call of the primes and they carried with them the hooks of Bremmen (history). The hooks were used for their design to collect and hang the Primes, for it was know to them that none could hold them without mortal suffering.

And because they sought and found the Primes they were each made immortal by Phobettus. So that they could keep the Primes safe, so they could know them and so they could teach from them. And the Acolytes of Bremmen became crepuscular with time and would after prophecy become known as the Dark Elders.

The Dark Elders eventually found each other and they built a temple to keep the lessons of the Prime together and to preserve the Phobettyyn tenets. And the temple was called Thuul. And the temple was the reliquary of the ancient lessons and of Hobben history. And for an entire epoch it stood as the sanctum of the Dark Elders and the sacred hull of the temple's thousand veracious congregates.

Inside the Temple Thuul were the shed layers of the first written Sakarrens. These 343 mortal coils lined the edges of Temple's inner sanctum. Inside each was a prime of the Lost Shepherd and each hung on the hooks the Acolytes used to gather them.

And the eighth Dark Elder who was an immortal stood in front of the thousand who listened. And she said that the Primes would remain if they were not touched. That she would remain as long as they would listen. That the temple would remain as long as she lived.

And she told them that she could not die and that this was a divined providence and the truth.

Absolute.

And it was then that a dark cloud descended upon the Temple. And the cloud brought a dark wind and the wind was borne from the wings of the insects of plague. And the insects of plague were the dark cloud itself. And the cloud entered the temple. And it descended on the congregation of the Dark Elder and made them mindless lepers. And they in front of her rotted and moved against her at her altar. And she threshed them there.

And from the lepers that she threshed erupted a growing mass of the pupae of plague. And it began to fill the temple and it multiplied under her. And on this increasing and writhing layer she was lifted up separating her from her path. And she then knew doom.

The dark cloud descend upon the Primes. And the insects of plague sought to devour them. And the last Dark Elder reached out to touch and to hold her favorite of these. It was opened and it was read by her. And this made her again mortal and then she became the antithesis of both life and death. And she became then Grimm.

The insects of the Dark Cloud devoured every Phobettyyn Prime. And they became the vessels of the Prime themselves. And from that moment we're known as Kussts which is the ancient word for Devine Scabs. And these Kussts from then were known as the living springs and the protractors of the sacred ochre.

Grimm Khal-Rhun-Kannon made her body as the temple Thuul. And she took an Acolytes hook to her unliving body and opened it. And it was inhabited by every Kusst of the temple and it was there that she kept them. And they were her and she was them.

And she counted every creature of the great cloud as still she does. And she recognized each of them as still she does. And she forgot every Prime that the temple was a sanctuary for. And she destroyed the temple with their wind and scattered the remains of it across the lengths of the land.

Dthame'Dtholl'Nineveh"-

Necromyc Direction: Illith Etherealand Astral Plane

• Name Derivation: Dathame’“Reaches out” Eludes to an ancient Hobben word “Thame” which means old river. From texts contending that the cycle of water from elevated geology flowing / returning back to the sea can be viewed as reaching arms. Dtholl’ means gatherer or collector. A post within the temple that held the congregation and knew their tithe. The Dtholl ritualised the ceremony after the primes were read. Part of their responsibility was to collect offerings and to maintain and protect the coffers Nineveh means the “The Ninth” or “The Last” She was the final Elder in the group of nine. Last to know the fate of the Temple Thuul. Nineveh was the last to leave it as she was cast instantly into her Necromyc direction. Last in the procession that the Elders made during the ascension of the excandescent star.

Nineveh is known as "The Ninth" or "The Last" She has claim to most of the planes known as "Illith" (ill-ith) which are very difficult existences to describe. They are in-between the others. Nineveh was out among congregation when the Temple was destroyed.
