About: Cyrano started fighting during the recruitment boom of 2013 in Tir Asleen. He had a few names before settling on Cyrano (a famous duelist known for a hawkishly large nose). Much to the suprise and aw of the veterans of TA, Cyrano developed a new race complete with lore and garb by his first event (Octoberfest 2013) and owned it.
Lore: Cyrano hails from the Isle of Wind and Bone on the Western edge of the world. Born of Ralee Strong-Song and Kamarie Loud-Screech, Cyrano was the youngest and smallest of three hatchlings. Naturally, since Cyrano was the third hatchling he was forced to labor for his people and did so for the first years of his life. For a time Cyrano lived in ignorance, believing that his servitude would truly aid in the return of Okah. However as the years passed Cyrano had come to see the truth. Corruption, greed, and cruelty were ever-present and it became apparent that the tribes leaders had no intention of restoring the land. Warring between tribes only further soiled the land. Cyrano's fortunes changed when the Isle of Wind and Bone was visited by a strange dragon-prowed ship filled with bearded humans wielding snow-white steel weapons. Their leader was Sigurd Amundson. Sigurd traded furs and other goods to the birdpeople and feasted with them. After Sigurd and his crew had left his tribe, however, Cyrano overheard his elder brother's plans to ambush them when the returned. Seeing this as an opportunity to escape the life of servitude, Cyrano slipped away from the tribe and warned Sigurd about the impending ambush. Sigurd graciously allowed Cyrano to fight with him in the upcoming battle. When Sigurd and his crew returned, they were well prepared for the attack. The Hawkblood warriors' obsidian weapons were no match for the Vikings cold When it came time for Sigurd to leave Cyrano came to him and bartered for passage away from the Isle. Sigurd accepted and Cyrano was able to escape his life of labor below his siblings.
