This is the fighting caste of the Dimma Ulfur. Both men and women are invited to join this caste once they have proven themselves to the Hirđ. The Hersir are our pure warriors, Soldiers of the Fenrir, who fight for our honor on the field and protect those that are of the Wolf.

Ringbearers, for those of the non-Christian sects, are our godi and godia. Otherwise they are our advisors, our judges, our historians, and skalds. It falls upon them to make sure all Wolves understand and follow the laws, keep the peace, council those in need, and to make sure our stories and histories are kept alive.

Of all the castes, the Hearthstone is by far the largest. It holds all of our smiths, thralls, craftspeople, cooks, and other camp dwellers. It falls upon the Hearthstone to make sure that camp is set up and maintained, food is provided for the Hirđ, and our clan is clothed and cared for.
