Beornve was founded in June of 2005 by [[Poeir]] and [[Telanar]] after they finished trading lots of little green pieces of paper for a very nice piece of paper in a folder thingie.  They both learned to fight while residing in [[Tir Asleen]][[Poeir]] has since moved to [[Numenor]].  Beornve usually has a very high turnout at events percentage wise, which amounts to squat when it comes to actual numbers.

Beornve is old Norse for banner of the bear, at least when you make a loose translation.  The name was picked out months before the realm was founded, and was originally going to be the name of a unit.  Instead, the unit was named [[Children of Niddhogg]] and the realm was founded.

Like many bears, the realm slumbered for most of the first winter, with the exception of an event or two.  Now into it's second year, it is starting to pick up members, including some that came with their own nearly passing weapons.  They have since been educated on foamsmithing, to the delight of the rest of the realm.
