Gauntlet (Breed)

The Gauntlet breed are those members of the Uruk-Hai who serve as unit leaders, both on and off the field. They may have characteristics that would otherwise place them amongst the ranks of another breed, but their abilities as leaders and administrators allow them to stand apart from the other breeds. These Uruk-Hai can be found leading and coordinating the different combat groups within the army of the Uruk-Hai or leading the army as a whole. Grudgingly, those of the Gauntlet breed typically find themselves at the middle or rear of the army because their abilities are rare and are needed in order to run the army effectively.
