Lore: Abandoned at childbirth, Modnar was adopted by a warlock of the name Aerroc who was very interested in his lineage and ties to demonic magic. Unfortunately, Modnar did not inherit an aptitude for the arcane arts and was abandoned by the warlock by the time he had barely matured by human standards. During his time in the tower where the warlock resided, Modnar did, however realize a talent for being incredibly stealthy and an ability to make great use of his body to move around with great speed. Once out of Aerroc's care, Modnar befriended a young magician known as Sage and a young archer by the name of Break and, over the course of the next few years, formed a powerful bond of friendship with the two. The three young men now fight together on their path to their future of love, peace, and honor.

Devyn first attended and participated in a Belegarth practice in the realm of Blackwater at their home field in late November of 2011. Amazed by the sport, he longed to participate, but had no way of attending the practices which were held in the nearby city Chula Vista. Devyn did not participate again until the birth of a Blackwater province by the name of Splinter, which happened to be based in a park of his home town of Imperial Beach, well within walking distance of his humble abode. He then started attending the practices with a few of his friends, and they quickly developed a drive for the sport; buying appropriate gear and constructing personal weapons within the first few months. Thus far, Devyn fights primarily with a sword and shield, but plans on constructing a glaive which will become his primary weapon at some point.
