AJ is a student at U of I, in Urbana, studying Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences. He had a grounding in martial arts, as well as some rudimentary swordplay, before Belegarth. Character History Slagar was bred and born a fighting orc, but lacked discipline and training for much of the early part of his life. He attempted to fill this gap with close-combat fighting and general brawling, but was left unsatisfied. He continued this way, until he happened to wander into the realm of Numenor, onto a battlefield. There he beheld his own kind, fighting with his own ferocity, but tempered and trained. He found his place there, as a member of the Uruk-Hai. He was taught the proper ways to wield a sword and shield, and the proper manner in which to acknowledge defeat. Throughout much of his training, he was mentored by an older orc, Orso, and through him acquired much of the fighting style he now employs.
Despite a penchant for using glaives when bored, Slagar has mostly restricted himself to the use of a long blue sword, and alternates between a Hydra tower and a round shield, depending on how lazy he is feeling. He is widely known in Numenor as "That tall orc, the lefty. No, not V'Hil, the new one." He is often seen in the company of his cohorts, Matthias and Brom, and his personal love-slave, Morgan Drakeheart. He has taken it upon himself to cleverly fool these ignorant pinkies into believing he is an honorable, decent being.
