Zaeyl, a White Rat, Born of Clan Rictus. Early in his years, he showed much promise with a blade, and as he came to age, so did his bloodlust. He was an expert in war, moving like lightning; fast, agile, and precise. Word grew of his accomplishments with a sword and his skills on a field and many factions and units came to scout the young rat and entice him with offers, but none really appealed to Zaeyl; his goals were set in a much more sinister way... For in the field he'd see these men gloating of their lineages and their followers, wearing chains and heraldry that meant nothing to Zaeyl.
Some fell quickly, those under his blade claiming "I am still above you. I am royalty. I am honorable." But Zaeyl would whisper back, "What did this honor or chain bring you except a quick death?" He grew to detest the way these hoomans would give themselves titles and use it to boss other hoomans around. This was not the way of a warrior or a protector. But what could zaeyl do? How could zaeyl prove to those under these knights that this was not the way? That this was misleading? That a chain does not make you a god or king? That respect and loyalty are what paves this road?
