A plate skirt is a skirt made of plate armor. It is worn by men and women alike, and was a popular form of armor in The Middle Ages. It was worn by the Romans, the Franks, and most of the other countries of the Medieval world. A plate skirt would probably be worn over a simple skirt or pair of pants (Note: do NOT wear a plate skirt without wearing anything underneath. It might get pinchy.)
