Hersir

B sons of odin.jpg

This is the fighting caste of the Dimma Ulfur. Both men and women are invited to join this caste once they have proven themselves to the Hirđ. The Hersir are our pure warriors, Soldiers of the Fenrir, who fight for our honor on the field and protect those that are of the Wolf.

Ringbearers

Ringbearers, for those of the non-Christian sects, are our godi and godia. Otherwise they are our advisors, our judges, our historians, and skalds. It falls upon them to make sure all Wolves understand and follow the laws, keep the peace, council those in need, and to make sure our stories and histories are kept alive.

Hearthstone

Fullcamp3.jpg

Of all the castes, the Hearthstone is by far the largest. It holds all of the non-combatants: our smiths, thralls, craftspeople, cooks, and other camp dwellers. It falls upon the Hearthston to make sure that camp set up and maintained, food is provided for the Hirđ, and our clan is clothed and cared for.

Each caste is not necessarily restricted to only their duties. Priests have been known to take up a sword, a cook can council a warrior on diet, and a warrior can cook a meal while the Hearthstone are busy taking care of the wounded.
