A woodland elf once native to Fangorn Forest, Tári roamed the woods alone for many years before finding her home within the walls of Mittelmarch. There, she reunited with old friends of the past—Sir Nichtmar, Sir MacDimm and Sir Rune and vowed to protect the city and the many friends she had made. Before long, Nichtmar and Rune approached her for assistance in leading the the realm, her knack for strategy a boone to the elders who had grown weary of bloodshed and laid down their swords. She was sworn into service for the realm as well as the Legion of the Dragoons, an elite force of fighters that, together, were gifted with enough strength to kill a dragon. After many years of service, Sir Nichtmar and the Knights of the Silver Order bestowed upon her a silver chain and sword, signifying her own peerage and Knighthood.
Leadership & Volunteerism
- (Mittelmarch) Olympics is a national weekend event with a full schedule of activities including themed battles, tournaments, classes (Academy), night fighting and more. Olympics is held annually in April, with event attendance exceeding 400 people. Positions held: Event Coordinator, Head of Troll, Merchant Coordinator and Academy Coordinator.
- (Mittelmarch) WAR is a national day battle where two teams battle to conquer and defend territories along several terrains: bridges, woods, open field. If you want a break, take it yourself, but the battle will keep going. WAR is an event for people who like to fight. WAR is held annually in October, with event attendance exceeding 300 people. Positions held: Event Coordinator, Head of Troll, Volunteer Coordinator.
- External volunteer service by providing regular support at various national events each year, including Troll, Weapons Check (archery), Heralding, Feast Preparation and more.
Classes & Service Projects
- Event Planning 101 guides players through the necessary steps to design and implement a successful sword fighting event, from budgeting, fostering a culture of volunteerism to running an efficient weapons check. Taught virtually in July 2020, Olympics XVII (2022), Olympics XVIII (2023), Olympics XIX (2024).
- Modular Arrowhead Tutorial class outlines the start-to-finish process and all materials needed to convert the Forged Form Arrow Kit (made for an arrow shaft) to a modular head as well as attaching the modular head to an arrow shaft. Taught virtually in April 2020 and Armageddon XIX.
- Event Preparation and Packing Guide will help you prepare and pack for a great Belegarth event (camping) experience. This guide incorporates two decades of foam fighting experience, meant to serve as a compilation of what to consider bringing along, especially for those who are new to attending a foam fighting.
