Wights are spirits is raised from the dead due to necromancy, or attatching a spirit or [[Geist]] to a corpse. In some cases, a wight arises when a powerful evil spirit permanently bonds with a corpse, often the corpse of a slain warrior. They are barely recognizable to those who knew them in life; their flesh is twisted by evil and undeath, the eyes burn blood-red with hatred, and the teeth and nails become beast-like. In some ways, a wight bridges the gap between a [[ghoul]] and a ghost.

The difference between a ghoul and a wight is that wights are exclusively born through resurrection by some form of necromancy, where as a ghoul is a living being cursed with undeath.
