Police

While most mundanes might run when someone yells 'Police', it's because they don't want to be arrested. When you're at an event and someone yells 'Police', you might run too, if you shirk your duty and leave a campsite destroyed.

The term 'police' means to clean. When one is 'policing the camp', they are walking around and picking up all the little dirties that get dropped on the ground, such as bits of plastic, bits of cloth, and most importantly cigarette butts.

Cigarette butts are arguably the most dirtying item at any event. The Brotherhood has taken to leaving many empty coffee cans hanging about camp to drop used cigarettes in to. We highly suggest that every camp with smokers takes up the practice, unless you're disposing of butts in proper trash receptacles or burning them. The most disparaging sight for anyone to see is walking through the site on Sunday and finding tons of butts hanging about.

POLICE YOUR SITE! Don't make the event coordinators' lives any more difficult. They want to go home and feel clean again too.
