Crazy mother abandoned him in the wild. He grew up in the company of kobolds. They worshiped him as a god because he was taller than everyone. His head swollen by all this worship, he went on a wild rampage through two farms before a farmer pitchforked him to a tree. Then Dyre stepped in and saved him, and he became a fighter of Salamandastron, because otherwise Dyre would kill him.
