There he met an old friend and while he had taken an interest in it, he was in his senior year of high school. As such, he had a busy schedule during the entire year and little time to fight due to sports and other extracurricular activities.

Lucky for him Peregrine, the Paragon of Paladins, was there to explain things. Finding he liked the idea, he decided to become a Petitioner for Clan. While it may be a time before he is promoted to full Guard status, he is resolute in his goals of becoming a better fighter, and happy to find he has such skilled fighters to help him progress.
