Earl

Leader of the Vikings, May he die Gloriously in Battle

Jarl

The appointed second in command during field battles, should the Earl fall the Jarl leads. The Jarl is chosen by the Earl from amongst the ranks of the present heathens each event. It only gives battle rank, for all Freemen are equal off the field.

Freeman

A full member of the Vikings (only open to members of House Dregoth)

Thrall

A "petitioner" to the Vikings, held by a Freeman. A thrall can be someone otherwise unaffiliated with House Dregoth

Unit Requirements

Armor: Armor must be composed of no less than 50% metal, including a metal Spangenhelm, ultimate goal of "acquiring" all metal armor
Garb: Viking style Tunic
Weapons: Axe, Flat blade sword or Pole arm
Shield: Round shield (Freemen must obtain a custom 36" round)
