During the fall of 2013, the founders of the club (Alex, Connor, Jaime, Jeff, Josh, and Kremer) began playing what we called LARP on the UW-Platteville campus. Since then, we have come a long way. After talking to the head of the sword and board function coordinator, from the realm Rhun, we began planning for our section of Belegarth. On April 1, 2014 we officially became a club on campus.
We had initially planned to use this to advertise the club and to offer practice space during the winter. Unfortunately, because students can only practice in the gym (unless the community members want to pay money) we have no option to bring in community members; unless they are willing to only practice in the warmer months.
