My Story
I got started in foam fighting when my brother and a friend of ours came home from a realm practice with swords in hand and ideas in their heads for garb, armor, shields and more swords.
I was watching them fight one day and asked them if I could try my hand at sword fighting, so they handed me a sword and said "Lay on". I had no idea what I was doing but pretty soon I got the hang of it, and my brother was also giving my advice as we went along.
Soon I was a part of the unit and practicing almost everyday when I got a free moment. I still have a lot to learn but I'm getting closer to becoming a somewhat skilled swordsman.
It's great being able to meet a lot of people and get advice on how to perform a certain move, get shown a new move, and also be able to just hang out and joke around!!! :-)
