Overview
Manoa Medieval Combat Club (Manoa MCC) in the city of Honolulu, on the island of Oahu.
Based in the Manoa Valley, Manoa MCC is located on the campus of the University of Hawaii. As a RIO (Registered Independent Organization), Manoa MCC is officially recognized by the University and allowed to operate, with certain benefits meant to encourage student organizations, but is officially independent from the school.
As a newly formed realm, it is best to contact for information (such as practice locations and times) until practice schedules are finalized. For the time being official practices will be held Fridays between 2-4pm in Hemenway Hall (either room 201 or 208), with additional pickup games/practices organized at member's request.
Equipment will be provided free of charge for the first several practices attended, and there is no participation fee. If you decide to stay with the sport, it is highly encouraged to eventually build your own equipment (as a bonus it will then be customized to your own specifications). You will not be on your own in this however: experienced members will be more than willing to provide any help that you need when building your equipment, and tutorials are available on this website, under "How to Build."

Thank you all for the excellent first run of Manoa MCC. Since we just got back from Thanksgiving Break, and we only have 2 weeks of school left until finals, there will not be any further practices this semester (to save all our sanities).
Practice will resume bright and early next semester, either the first or second week of school. Keep updated on further announcements here, or e-mail ManoaMCC@hawaii.edu to sign up for the mailing list. If you participated during the month of November, and have an opinion on which practice room you liked the best, please e-mail with your opinion.
Otherwise have a great winter break, build some weapons (Category:How to build), and we'll see you in January! (And if you would like some building supplies from the mainland, such as Walmart blue foam, fiberglass rods, and/or black 'hockey tape,' let me know!)
During the month of Nov, we will be trying different rooms to see which works the best.
