Malkier

Overview

Malkier is the London, Ontario realm of the Belegarth Medieval Combat Society hosted in London, Ontario, Canada and is a member of the Northern Alliance. Malkier was founded in 2010 by a group of friends that experimented with boffer fighting under the Belegarth Book of War rules set. Malkier was named for the fallen northern city of the popular Wheel of Time literature series by Robert Jordan. Since it's founding, Malkier has seen a flux in members as interest rises and falls, but the fighting ability of it's members always improves, whether a little or a lot, and members always watch others to point out places to improve. Malkier made it's first international appearance at the 2011 Okfest, where it was established as a Northern Alliance member. Over the years from that Okfest, Malkier has strived to assert itself as a respected member in the Belegarth community by abiding to an honour code while at events.
