History:
When not yet an adult I ran from my community and family, for to make my own way in the world. Leaving everything I had behind, including my name, I took on a new name: Silthen Ru. One time, while worn down and impoverished, walking in a wood wearing only the tattered rags of my previous clothing, I met X, a High Guard Skirmisher for the Clan of the Hydra. He took me in and gave me shelter, thereby introducing me to the clan. Thence forth I have progressed in the world to the point where I am capable of providing my own shelter, but I still fight with and for the Clan.
In the eveningtime after my first major battle (Spring War 05) I entered the Gladiator Pits. I was hired for only one dollar, and made no money at all from the tournament. But, when the lights were out (save the moon) and the crowds had dispersed, I made my way back to the field. There, scavenging the ground, I was able to collect seventeen and a half dollars worth of coins from the grass.
Upon presenting these to and dispersing these among my clanmates, I was given the name Magpie, to replace my previous name, Silthen. This name was chosen and presented to me by clanmate Chicken.
I fight now under the name Magpie, skirmishing, make what weapons and equipment I can, and use what arts I can devise to capture visions of our battles for future re-viewing. In my wanderings in the wood I have become a poet, as well.
