Lore: Hornet was not given the name Hornet to be kind. She was given the name because of how she was— a bit of a smartass, prone to sarcasm and surviving through what many could only call "spite". Stinging and small.

She was not always this way. She hailed from a land of green— of lush thickets that touched the skies, moss covered stone that littered the land, and leafs swirling underfoot, and she would jump, skip and wander adist broken cobblestone paths. Her wings had long been broken— from childhood sickness— often folded across her back, thus she relied on spidersilk to move to and fro, from tree top to pathway, crumbling hallway to hallway, eventually running out of silk and having to trade for more.

One day, a spider had asked her to deliver a flower— a simple but tedious task, if you asked her, as the flower was more fragile than the thinnest hair. She had taken this task with all attempts and purposes of doing it...well, that was until the path she was walking on had cracked and she had slid out, out through a hole of the ruins and into a place of blinding light...the outside world. The flower forgotten, she had taken her first steps into the outside world.

She's pretty sure that spider is not going to be happy when she gets back.
