Helping at Events

So...you want to help at Belegarth event but don't know what you can do. Well, here's some ideas to get you started.

Fighting Based

• Herald
• Help at weapons check
  • Be a back for Class 2 and Class 3 weapons
  • Be an archer target for arrows
  • Be a back for javelin testing
• Teach People
  • Fighting Styles
  • Weapons Making
  • Leather working
  • Chain mail or metal working
  • Combat movement and command

Service Based

• Watch kids so parents can fight
• Offer to help at troll or relieve someone so they can go to the restroom, get a drink, etc
• Bring water to people
  • At troll
  • Heralding
  • Cooking
• Pick up the site (trash, bottles, can, etc) during and after the event

Specialty

• Take pictures
• Take video
• Run a feast
• Be a medic (if qualified)
• Teach people (if qualified)
  • Craft skills
  • Sewing
  • Cooking
  • Wood working
• Nightlife
  • Fire blowing (use extreme caution and know what you are doing please)
  • Belly dancing
  • Drumming, guitar, singing, juggling, acting (character role playing), telling stories, jokes
  • Maintaining main camp's fire
