This is a posting of notes from a meeting regarding lore of Dur-Demarion with some edits as I try to make this more of a story. Please feel free to correct names or tag people.

Dur Demarion Lore Meeting 01/14/2023

Dur-Demarion started prior to 1993, but the exact start date has been lost to the ages.

The land of Dur-Demarion encompasses Nashville, but does not include Nashville itself. Nashville is known as Dark Pine. Clarksville is known as The Land of High Valleys. Murfreesboro is known as the Southern Marches. Ashland City is known as the Ashland.

Crimson was leader of army of dark pine Clarksville group really started dd, started in clarksville monsters were here with this group - also assassins Originally dark pine was the capital, a duchy at the beginning A hierarchy before chaos reigns Duke Anton Ducortney Ruled over the people of Dark Pine Main members of the area? Hammer, theroneder , forche, badger First knight of Dur Demarion - Devon Dewolfland knights trial was him standing at one end of the field, people ran at him and fought, if he won, he was a knight 8. War of the rose a. War was over Anton dealing with Arenda - elven woman/ child - became ward of anton - black rose kidnapped her and took her away. B. Black Rose called the horde – anytime a part of the realm was being challenged - could call back anyone who used to fight to come back and fight for a one day battle C. Established at start of battle, Anton would take character death if he lost - Blackhawk stabbed Anton in back , end of duchy - became chaos reigns - not the same Blackhawk we know 9. Main Units at the time were - triad - elite Blood falcons, brotherhood, dark angels , Thurisaz - leader was hammer 10.Knights of Dur Demarion Second knight = grimfelt - chose weapon master title instead Ursillus griciety - 3rd knight 4th knight - debatable - hammer -This is because Hammer held the highest title in a unit, so he actually knighted Ivan Ivan - 5th knight of dd - son of king from some faraway land . Onyx was his weapons trainer. 11. Just the brotherhood - elite - was the personal guard , same as dark angels a. Ivan, onyx, rachi, randau , badger and blackhawk - original brotherhood/ elite/ dark angels b.Onyx referred as leader - Leader was actually Risen – part of ebf 12. Unit information - Black Rose Members Eric kimore, hawkins, nooni ,morgana 13. Unit Information -Elite Members - A. four of them for the longest time Sir gareth ivan darkspear, onyx, rachii talimearson last of the renshai of the golden head devils , randauthor ? spelling ! 14.Unit Information Dark angels -

shadow ravenwolf, iolo goldstone, talamar, lyric, akira raven , taryn silverring – freon/priest of bob

Grey malken - fenris, gamelon , roe , jacob/ lupus, phoenix, torqwill - mad death jester, - later became izareth, kithian - became kudzu, girl named - kai, scythian, Glavender 17. Ivan and ebf turned against them , Ivan was courting arenda, Delilah went to a equinox, handfasting between ivan/ arenda- rumors that arenda ws going to be kidnapped 18. Knights trial - 35 consecutive fights, people of varying degrees of skill level - a. ivan completed it and fenris . Hammer did knights ceremony because he had the highest ranking ,

b.Reigning knight of dd would be knights of dd, not the knight of dd , sounds like official knight of dd existed- and everyone else would be a knight of the realm 

19. Random Character Name - Randalthor - human that was hit on head, ended up in kinder village, had amnesia, thought he was a kinder - he was over 6foot tall 20. Character information- KINDERS

Kinders are basically kleptos, always curious , see beauty in everything, they don't steal, they borrow...probably for rest of your  life - very much a little kid- extremely mischievous, taunt you as well - between 3 and 4/ 5 foot tall

21. Rachii was very cocky when he was young . not nice to speak ill of the dead, but he was . 22. Used to run slave auctions at events ( I missed this section and the story– feel free to fill it in :) ) 23. - Delilahs character name - Lady davina darkspear morachanin - she was Ivan’s adopted stepchild, Arenda was her stepmom - disobeyed her all the time . Came in at rag 9 , went to rag 10 24. Group names - what everyone called the people that hung out with the specific crowds. a. Ivanites - people with triad - hung out with Ivan Hamerites - thurisaz, grey malkin, tdk - hung out with hammer 25. Dur Demarion had a Church - church of terra a.Supposed to be healer for the entire field , each priestess had a paladin to go with them on the field to heal everyone B. heal for everyone on the field, big targets at the time Had to wear white headband, one weapon so you could recite poem, no armor

we went on to field as church no weapons or shield 

26. Random Character Name - Shroom - came around - 6 foot tall kinder Story was that a witch cast a growth spell on him and couldn't stop growing 27. Orcs at event - one named Toyway, at some point all orcs down at the lake and they were swimming, They had their orc flag against the wall while they were swimming. All of the kinders - randa, moony, shroom - all crawled down the hill to the wall and reached over the wall and grabbed the orc flag and ran away. There was a Whole saga of the orcs trying to get the flag back.. 28. Event Story A, One of biggest scandals. group come from middlemarch , sir allbricks society - had strict rules - characters had to be christian based - couldn't accept healing - B. Brought a young girl with them who had been fighting with them, she wanted to dress up for the feast,so some people helped her dress up, Sir Allbricks chastised her for it, he ended up leaving her there at the event and she was under 18.. They got her taken care of and home safe. 29. Fighting Story They assumed whole time healers could not fight, A battle where it got down to hawkins, iolo, davina, hawkins got in front of davina to try and save her . he took hawkins down, Delilah fell on iolo flail, delilah hit iolo with the flail( it was a blue ) 30. Character names - a.Other people came into realm - kane apart - sir viper as well B. more came in like kato, lotek and ora . 31. Character Story- Satan was going to acquire a notebook written by ivan. Ivan wrote down everything he wanted the knights to be in dur demarion. The notebook has not been found .

Satan was very much an  alabama samurai when he started - all karate/ asian outfits/ only fought with long blade . very bad perm .

32. Character Story-

There is a video of the funeral of Ivan - his character  - long before jamie durham died. . jamie decided he wanted to kill Ivan. Part of this was because once your elite, always elite.  There is no way to leave the unit. 

B . This happened at equinox somewhere that was not at monty bell - somewhere towards mount juliet - long hunter state park ?? C. Jamie was unable to go , so he was able to make sure Ivan died. Davina and Ivan made a big dummy of him , staged a big thing saturday morning. She went for a walk in the woods, said they found him and he was dead . D. Goblins had got into camp and started a fire and burned orcs flag. E. Found ivan the next morning, he must have killed a 100 goblins and thats what happened, F. Delilah had a tent that had 2 rooms, they laid out the fake body in the other room, people came and paid respect to ivan. Some people brought old armor/ garb from old characters. They came and paid respects as previous character, then changed back to goblins or whatever for rest of day. G. Got permission from park to burn the fake body, H. What happened to Ivans’ Family after his death 1.Rachii talked to a sword 2.Arenda went completely mad and ended up with a black mark on her face 3. Davina had a model of him on a necklace in his tunic that she wore I. A video exists of the whole killing of ivan the character - goblins actually bought hot dogs up and roasted them at the end of the burning if the funeral pyre - J. Cutter ws painted head to toe gray and she has white hair , she was a draoi . there were goblins in character doing weird stuff in the background while the funeral pyre is burning. K. Song she wrote for the funeral of ivan the character and it was read at his actual funeral . 33. Triad Rules- We got in trouble as triad, doing blood pack - if you saw a member of the triad on the opposite team, you would wait to end of battle to fight them - 34. Unit Information - Thurisaz Thurisaz is a unit and also a place , you could go to hammer and ask for land - davina has rings saying she owns land in thurisaz earn 10 rings for doing different tasks Could earn rings from Hammer for not being in unit, he would hand them out Delilah Will not be shot at by an arrow by Hammer, he couldn't hit her even if he tried 35. Character Story- Ivan died before he knighted satan

Satan thought he was automatically a knight. Ivan didn't think he deserved it, the notebook he had  was auctioned off , sata had to borrow money from a bunch of people to get it .

Ghost of Ivan showed up and knighted satan at a regular practice . And that is how he became a knight.

36. Character Names and Information- A. Ged of fenris - run by angus? B. Northern invasion - people from up north came to tn - finn sorsha, turgen - kane - kaflanax, A bunch of people moved to the south - C. Tatly - was a kinder - eaten by goblin named blixx - same person - D. Gorga - popular goblin 37. Unit Information - Thurisaz/ TDK A. Eventually thurisaz faded - hammer stopped coming out, phoenix was gone B. Tdk came about from that . people ended up in tdk - people from thurisaz ended up there. C. Davina was also a member at some point - satan wanted her to change how she did the church of terra and she didn't agree with that D. Tdk was a thing, then it was not a thing 38.Character Information A. Had a band of roma come around - wick - not roma but with them B. Zewolf showed up - bladestorm started to be a thing C. Zewolf and zance became the first dedicated players around dd of african american descent – better wording needed! Or just delete!!! D. Rowan was a pooka - daren / wick and belladonna E. Other kinder james/cas - jaspers dad - Was With Tianna before she was with Mefit. F. Olivia - been in game since before she was born - 39. Character Story A. Everyone knows about hawkins, always a pain , has always been that way B. DD quit magic before Belegarth did. Part of this was because Hawkins would change his character all the time, Said he was a werewolf, and said we couldn't kill him because no one had silver - lotek made a weapon with silver on it to kill him 40. Character information a. Satan had lotek to set vigil before his trial the night before. He did not give a time limit on it, so lotek was exhausted for his trial the next day because he stayed up the entire night. 41. Character information - A. Hawkins was knighted out west, because he couldn't beat it in dd B. Influx of people morgak , kato, scavins, skeetnik, brittany hawks - smudges mom .

C. Christina had 2 characters angel and smudge 1. Saw davina and shadow as her parents - Delilah thought that was weird 42. Knight information- Lotek knighted took viper Viper took kai and zewolf - kai didn't want to be knighted by lotek C. Satan gave kai a hard time for being knighted by the realm not by a knight 43. Character information A. Gervin came from and few other people B. Tianna was with James when they first joined. As time went by she was with mefit c. Elf - franklin gates - D. Stretch - tall guy who came out-he ended up being banned because he is not allowed around children - 44. Character Story- \ A, Arenda came and called out davina, shadow, Talamar and a few others . She wanted to have her character die, so she challenged them all to a character death for her B. Lyric - only one that fought with her - shadow swung at her and actually snapped her sword -which she had since the beginning - she said it was her sign.it ended up that iolo killed her . C. When kum first came out - with brother rothgar - had a teddy bear he would throw at people - people named named weapons - 45. Knight information - round 2 Devon dewolfland -first knight Second knight - grim felttooth - master of arms - he was an orc c.. Ursuluss grisety - 3rd - buddy named balas - looked like an elf- D. 4th knight - is debated - consider hammer because he was comitati of Thurisaz E. Satan was 6th knight F. Lotek ws the 7th knight G. Viper was the 8th knight H. Rigtaugh or hudson ws next knight of dd Knight rules from years past At the time it used to be the knight was completely squired and sponsored by realm The knight of dd who was knighted in dd by the realm, not a knight of dd I. Rightuagh was knighted by another knight J. knight information 1. Satan moved away - so people said that he wasn't the knight of dd Because lotek lived here so he became the night of dd The rope signified that you were the knight of dd Lotek did what he did and he disgraced the title Mefit ws knighted first, then rightaugh , Mefit squired shinji When ivan wanted to be a knight, there were no other knights in the realm, so hammer knighted ivan because he had the highest ranking in the realm . Satan information Ivan knew something was off with satan , so he didn't want to give up the book he wrote about what he wanted for knights of DD . satan had the least pomp and circumstance about his knighting Satan had a knights trial , but no one was there to knight him , so people tried to get the book from Ivan. Satan had to borrow money to get the book in an auction. Davina had the book and she wasn't supposed to let satan have it unless he did fill in blank here please! 46. Realm information Last night of rag 10 there was a thunderstorm B. Original village of dark pine - questions from aeron - C. What the town looks like - lone oak inn, ruins of church D. Most of thurisaz did not take healing - because they were vikings and they wouldn’t go to valhalla E. Aeron talked about manticore thing - people make something from their last battle and take it to the next one, but then the pandemic shut everything down and that never happened - something about aeron, vander and k’urn in a chat talking about all of that stuff

47. Delilah read the story she wrote about Ivans death in game. This was used at his funeral in real life, will be uploaded to wiki. 48. Closing remarks about what we could do for the next lore meeting. Possibly getting different units to talk about their Lore that we can write down. Also talked about finding old members that no longer come out to talk about things that happened years ago.
