Double Core

Double core is used to describe sword that is built on a rectanglar 3/4" fiberglass core. These where the core of sword that where once manufactured by Edhellen Armory which have since been discontinued.

They originally recieved their name because they constructed by placing two 1/2" fiberglass rods together to form their desired shape.

It is very hit or miss if a weapon built on these cores will pass a weapons check. Due to their core, these weapons do not flex on a swing. Unless built with the proper foam combnation, these can be very unsafe weapons.
