The Children of Ill Omen - Misfortune's Misfits - Guardian's of innocence
A Child of Ill Omen is simply a creature touched by death, and was not kept by it because of their destiny.
Children of Ill Omen are destined to become the guardian's of the innocent, to protect them so that the innocent may keep their ways. These misfortunate misfits are doomed to be written as the bad guy, not the hero. Rather than meet their demise death will forever save them from it's eternal sting in exchange for using the "children" to do the ugly work required to protect humanity and keep the peace "behind the scenes." Forever balancing the scales, protecting the masses, and making the hard choices to do so. They are the guardians countering the darkness with a darkness of their own. Misfortune's misfits creating the peace to give others a safe place to belong. They are the harbingers of Ill Omen
