In Hawaii, they don't say "hello". They say "aloha", which means "joyfully sharing life". I think that's beautiful.

The State of Hawaii is a tropical chain of islands that comprise one of the states of the USA. The largest, most southeastern island in the chain is Hawai'i, which is the namesake of the state; that island is usually referred to as The Big Island to avoid confusion. The other islands are, ordered from southeast to northwest: Maui, Kaho'olawe, Lāna'i, Moloka'i, O'ahu, Ni'ihau. Visitors may notice that the 🤙 hand sign (thumb and pinkie out, back of the hand facing forward) is used as to show acknowledgement or friendliness in this state.
