[edit] Blood Elves

Blood Elves suffer a thirst for blood and as such are often confused for Vampires. They are nearly indistinguishable from most humans but can be identified by the sharp canines and misshapen ears. However this is not their true form; they are capable of some illusion that hides the near opalescent scales from their temples, their colorless black eyes, pointed ears and the unnatural blue complexion.

Blood Elves usually prefer to steal victims from the Mortal Realm than using their charms as a lure. The victims will be kept with twisted accordance to the laws of hospitality. They are fed, they receive shelter, and no lasting harm comes to them. The victims must pay their new lord a blood tithe in exchange for their hospitality, all of this accounts for a victim to be hidden away in some room. Fed meals to make sure they are healthy enough for their next tithe.

The victim will be trapped by the rules of the Fae and are forced in subservience to their lord. However means of escape are possible, through careful wordplay you may trick your lord into giving you your freedom but it is a game of patience. One misstep would result in an unrecoverable failure as words will no longer be exchanged between the two or at least be told through a mediator as promises made by a mediator do not bind the lord.

However, if the Lord is managed to be tricked, escape from the Fae Realm is another matter. Only higher ranked Fae may open portals between the Realms and in the case of the Blood Elves, only when they require a new tithe. So one must escape as a Lord opens a new portal and it must be to the Realm you wish to return to. If done then they are free, only to deal with their Quick that had replaced them in their lives.

The victim will be permanently malformed by the Fae Realm, warped by its whimsical nature and altered to hint the form of their captors. As such for the Blood Elves, the victim will gain a slight blue hue to their skin most recognized at areas of increased blood flow, their canines will sharpen, their eyes dull as if color has been drained from them, lastly their ears will misshapen into points to mimic the Blood Elves’ human illusion.
