Stone Skin

Stone Skin or Stoneskin is an ability given to certain fighters during certain scenario battles, depending on the scenario. There are two types of stoneskin, sectional and non-sectional, and the type used varies by scenario.

• Sectional stoneskin: One point of sectional stoneskin allows the player to ignore the first hit to each section of their body. Effectively, they are wearing armor on every part of their body. Thus, the player may be hit once in each target area without suffering any damage or limb-loss.
  
• Non-sectional stoneskin: One point of non-sectional stoneskin allows the player to ignore the first hit they receive anywhere on their body.
  

A fighter may be given multiple points of stoneskin. Unless specified by the herald, multiple points of stoneskin are assumed to be non-sectional. When a fighter with stoneskin takes a hit, they must call out "Stoneskin!" to indicate that they have been hit, and have lost one of their points of stoneskin. If asked, a fighter with stoneskin must tell other fighters how many points they have remaining, and of what type.
