Veteran:
The definition of a Veteran or "Vet" in Belegarth varies widely from realm to realm. Generally, a veteran is a fighter who has been fighting longer than a decent portion of their realm, and thus is more knowledgable. "Longer" can mean 1 year, or sometimes up to 3 years. It also has a bit to do with how well you are regarded amongst your peers. Noobs are generally foolish and know next-to-nothing, so to become a veteran it means that you have shown enough progress as a fighter to merit a group's respect.
"Veteran" can also be synonymous with Geritol in some realms. Again, this is usually associated with experience and respect.
