''The Scourge'' is a vessel hailing from Kaer Morhen. As of this most recent update to this page, the ship’s reputation is not widely known. The majority of information regarding the ship comes from a field scout/wandering soldier known only as “Sentinel”, who appears to have recently joined the ships ranks.

[…] One ship of note is known as “The Scourge”.

The Scourge is a repurposed merchant schooner that has been modified for use in monster hunting.

The ship itself appears to be under charter by the Seelie Court as one of the courts privateers.

According to its captain, Jericho, it was won via the “Law of Surprise” (An archaic and rather problematic law, but commonplace in the ships universal branch of origin.)

The Scourge is a fully rigged sailing vessel (three masts and fully square sails) with a crew complement that sits at roughly 35 men. It’s armed with 30 cannons, split evenly between the two sides of the ship which serve as its main defense against other vessels. Additionally, many of the ships modifications have been made for the express purpose of naval monster hunting.

These modifications include a heavily reinforced and iron spiked hull (used for ramming monsters and other ships), a large collection of silver weaponry (a standard weapon material for monster hunting, especially for members of Kaer Morhen), weighted nets (for use on smaller monsters, or those of more humanoid proportions), and 10-15 barrels of ground dimeritium (a rare and valuable metal from the ships universal branch of origin used for repelling magic). According to a crew manifest written by Captain Jericho, the majority of the ships crew are sailors of no particular note. However a surprisingly large number of the more notable crew members appear to be Fae (including the ships sponsor).
