Bio

I got into fighting back in my Freshman year of High School. I was a pretty small guy, standing at 4' 11" and weighing a hair over a 100 lbs, and I was exceptionally timid. It was by coincidence that I got into Belegarth. Being an awful artist, I spent a lot of my mornings going in early to try and work on projects for my art class, so I wouldn't fail. One morning, another guy was in there working on an advanced project at an adjacent table. Turns out he had just started this cool new fighting sport the week prior, and was really itching to tell people about it. He invited me to come down to the park on Sunday to check it out, and I did.

The next couple of years were crucial in my development as a fighter and as a person. The guys I fought with didn't accept timid, weak, apologetic, or awkward. They were harsh, and at times I didn't think I was going to ever go back; I didn't know how to handle this type of social interaction. However, I stuck with it, and after a time I came to be more appreciative of their criticisms, and I started to take the advice they were giving me. When that happened, I started to progress. With the progress came confidence. With confidence, came change.
