Mowgli the Hat Troll, is not actually a hat troll anymore. He has undergone a botched transformation from a hat troll into an elemental, into a fucking rock.

Mowgli was found by Kord, under a large boulder that had obviously messed up the little hat troll. Feeling bad for the little dude, Kord took Mowgli under his wing. Since Mowgli wasn’t raised by other Hat Trolls, he was not aware of the dangerous effects of not protecting his head. To get Mowgli to protect his head, Kord started to wear a hat in order to get Mowgli to imitate him.
Due to the extreme amount of weight that smashed him as a baby, Mowgli would never grow taller. Instead, he grew inwards making him a very dense, but short Hat Troll. This only made Mowgli more effective in battle.
Mowgli survived many years of battle, and created his own backing. But since he was so short in comparison to other Hat Trolls and not deemed fit to survive, he was sentenced to a proper death. He was tied to a boulder, and sent to the deepest part of the seas. Since Mowgli still had the blood of a Hat Troll, he kept regenerating underwater instead of dying. Under normal circumstances, Hat Trolls submerged underwater for an eternity normally turn into Deep Ones. But this was not the case. He underwent a transformation, taking in the element of water and becoming one with it. For a moment, he was a proper Hat Troll Water Elemental. But due to his unfortunate childhood under a rock, he also became one with rock, and became Mowgli, The Rock Johnson...
