What is an Apprentice?

An apprentice has chosen to pursue mastery of a skill or area of service and has been approved by their Council. This is the first step to becoming a Master.

Becoming an Apprentice

Those wishing to become Guild Apprentices should speak to their respective Guild Council and fill out the following Artificer form, Chronicler form, or the Seneschal form.

Apprentice Garb

Any member who has been promoted to Apprentice may wear an Apprentice's Vest. They may also wear a badge with their guild's apprentice symbol on it.

Apprentice Vests:
1) Required: symbol of the guild the person is apprenticing to.
2) Suggested: the symbols or heraldry of the apprentice and/or the mentor.
3) Optional: Unit and realm symbols as decided upon by the apprentice and mentor.

For Artificers, that would be a brown badge with a grey hammer. For Seneschals, that would be a gold badge with a simple torch.

Apprentice Requirements

Requirements for all guilds for Apprentices are much the same. They are listed separately here for future clarification or differentiation, should that be required as the Guilds grow and develop.

Please note that previous experience and work may be used to fulfill requirements, at the Council or Mentor's discretion. These requirements listed at each stage assume someone has little prior knowledge, as the system is designed to allow people of all experience levels to learn and develop. Additional requirements may be required by individual mentors/masters. Please consult with your assigned mentor for your specific requirements.
