Category?

Why is this a category, anyway? "Book of War" doesn't really seem like a concept that various things can embody (ie: a category) so much as a unique thing (ie: an article). The only member right now is hold, which is also a member of Category:Fighting Terms, which seems like a more accurate place anyway...

I would have to believe this category exists for ease of location. It is found as a makor link on the community page, instead of being hidden away as an article somewhere. One of the most common problems in belegarth is people not knowing the rules before getting into the game. This way, should anyone have a question for the rules, they'll be able to find it quickly and efficiently. The Book of War holds references to many things, including Garb. This is where, I believe, the Book of War holds value as a Category instead of just another Article. Cy Na'quil 15:01, 2 November 2005 (EST)

Madog's Response
The idea is that any entry that contains a numbered and listed rule would be added to the category Book of War. It just has not been done yet. Think of it as a reference.

I think there should be a page on Book of War (Belegarth), and perhaps a Category for Belegarth that it would be a part of. 75.7.7.86 23:18, 15 June 2006 (EDT)
I just realized this the link took me away from Wikipedia. Sorry for the noise. 75.7.7.86 23:20, 15 June 2006 (EDT)

Huge BoW Overhaul

The BoW was updated on January 29th, 2017. It is now March and this article is still outdated. I've drafted an update on my user page, at User:Neko_Wafer#Book_of_War and would like some feedback before deciding to replace this article with it. Something I think is useful with my proposed replacement is that one can share the article with a hashtag of the rule number to go directly to that rule, without making every rule number a headline. For example, here's a link to rule 3.5.8, a new one that disallows intentional hits with a weapon's non-striking surface. However, my proposed replacement uses HTML elements in order to achieve this; future editors used to wikitext markup may not be able to correctly contribute to the article. Thanks for the feedback! --Shapeshiftress Wafer (talk) 01:56, 14 March 2017 (CDT)

Alright, well I've gotten a tiny bit of positive feedback and no negative feedback. So I'm just gonna pop my edits in tomorrow. --Shapeshiftress Wafer (talk) 21:24, 15 March 2017 (CDT)
So actually I'm gonna go poke Torix instead. --Y'know who
