This was the first event hosted by Avondale: July 3, 2005. Attendance was about 80 people total, with about 40 on the fighting field at any given time. Below is post used advertising the event:

AVONDALE SEIZED!!!
The Kingdom of Avondale, previously ruled by Elves, has been seized by the Dead River Horde!
In celebration, we are inviting all fighters and their families to a one day event of fighting, swimming, and cookout-ery. Avondale offers 3 acres of fighting field, private 20' x 40' in-ground pool, and is a ½ block away from Old Hickory Lake w/boat access.
When: Sunday - July 3rd '05, Noon-???
