Removal of 3.7.2.4.6.:

Change to 3.12.4.6.:

  • 3.12.4.6. Groin protection, protective sports bra inserts, and safety glasses are exempt from 3.12.4.5.

Removal of 4.9.8.1.1.:

  • 4.9.8.1.1. Crossbow bolts must be able to be fired by a standard bow and will be tested as normal arrows during arrow check.

Change to 5.2.1.3.:

  • 5.2.1.3. Wearing neutral colored undergarments, base layers, or gender affirming wear (including but not limited to: sports bras, binders, or compression shirts) with no visible logos or modern prints is acceptable so long as it does not violate any applicable laws while at a BMCS event, including laws of local municipalities, states, provinces, territories, or federal governments.

By-Laws changes in 2021

Maintained from 2020:

  • Temporary suspension of 15.2.5 until August 31, 2021. After which adherence to 15.2.5 automatically reinstates, barring another vote.

Addition to Article 4:

  • 4.5.2.1.5. A person that has been nationally banned in another LARP Organization, including but not limited to Dagorhir, Amtgard, Hearthlight, and the Society for Creative Anachronisms, can be brought forward for a subsequent Denial or Revocation of Membership in BMCS.
