Talk:Walmart

All this, yet many of Belegarth's younger fighters work there, and even more buy all of their supplies from Wal-Mart. I'm not saying I disagree, but c'mon. Who hasn't said at least once, "If Wal-Mart don't got it, I don't need it." Wal-mart is a product of American consumerism, where the lowest price wins every time. Even myself, who tend to see Wal-Mart as a horrid Mom & Pop-eating corporation, find myself shopping there regularly when in the USA, simply due to the extreme convenience of the entire experience. Where else can you go buy all your groceries, household goods, clothes, lunch, get pictures taken, an eye exam, get new tires and an oil change, and now in some stores even do your banking? Wal-Mart. How many people will boycot a store when they are living from paycheck to paycheck, only to pay more at a Mom & Pop shop down the road? I wouldn't. I agree it is not what Sam Walton was after, but then again, we are not like Sam Walton's original customer base, either. You can roll back prices, but you can't roll back time.

That, plus this isn't actually even loosely connected to Belegarth. Yes, obviously lots of peopel buy their weapons smithing supplies there... yet even that isn't mentioned. This doesn't really seem like the place for a random, unsourced, unqualified rant. ps: you can sign your Talk posts by typing the "~" character four times in a row, it's helpful.
